Millions awarded to sports across NSW


More than $45 million has been awarded to NSW sporting organisations for new and upgraded sports facilities in Round 2 of the Greater Cities and Regional Sport Facility Fund.


The Fund provides up to $100 million over two years to increase participation and promote healthy lifestyles, with 74 sporting organisations awarded funding.


The Greater Cities and Regional Sport Facility Fund provides grants from $100,000 - $1 million for projects such as lighting, amenity and changeroom upgrades.


Projects that encourage the participation of women and girls, and people with a disability are a focus of the Fund.
